Urbano Huayna, founder of Peru Is Travel, carefully selected a couple of Andean communities located in remote areas. Despite their remoteness, we share a close connection with them as we speak the local language, Quechua. It is this shared cultural bond that makes these families our partners as we strive to promote responsible and ethical tourism practices

Tour itinerary

Patacancha one of that few Andean communities with a unique traditional life style is located in Ollantaytambo one of the unique villages. The inhabitants are still living under the same customs coming from centuries. As a reflection of culture and authenticity, the families maintain the traditions working in agriculture and at the same time to manufacture their clothes. On this wonderful journey you will be part of the family sharing some of their magnificent traditional daily activities, music, dance, and the connection of people with the nature.
