Tour itinerary

Day 1: Reception at the airport:

Our team will be guarding for you at the airport to transfer to you on the way to the Sacred Valley located 1 hour away from Cusco City always with a wonderful view until you will arrive on your hotel.

Day 2: Cusco – Sacred Valley – Machupicchu town:

Around 07: in the morning we will come to collect you from your hotel to transport you on the wonderful sacred valley of the incas to explore some important destinations before to take the train on the way to Machupicchu.

  • Terraces of Moray: These terraces are unique and were used as a great agricultural laboratory in pre-Hispanic times.
  • The salt Mines of Maras: It is located 10km from the town of the same name, during the Spanish times was the main supplier of salt in the southern highlands, and today their inhabitants continue working at the salt flats using the techniques of many years.
  • Ollantaytambo: nown as a living Inca town due the houses that were built by the Inca on t6he old times are still inhabitants now days by keeping the original structure, also the archaeological center is one of the greatest evidences of Inca architecture that can be seen today here we will appreciate the famous tired stones, which are blocks of massive stones that were abandoned for no reason.

Late in the afternoon we will be boarding the on the way to Machupicchu, Enjoy the scenic train ride, which offers breathtaking views of the Andes, once arriving our transfer will leading you to your hotel.

Day 3:  Machupicchu

Very early in the morning having your breakfast at you hotel, we will board the bus uphill towards the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, once entered to the archaeological park we will be heading towards the viewpoint to appreciate more widely, the charming panorama of our destination , after enjoying these unique landscape we will begin the tour always leaded by our tour guide who will be showing us through the most important areas of the sanctuary for an average of 3 ½ hours of guided, later we will be board the bus down to Machu Picchu town where you will have free time for lunch and wonder  around the city by yourself, late in the afternoon we will board the train back to Ollantaytambo.

From this point our transportation will be transporting us on the way back till your hotel in Cusco City.

Day 4: Andean Villages

Early in the morning our team will come to collect you from your hotel to drive on the Patacancha one of that few Andean communities with a unique traditional life style is located in Ollantaytambo one of the most famous tourist destinations in Cusco Region. The inhabitants are still living under the same customs coming from centuries. As a reflection of culture and authenticity, the families maintain the traditions working in agriculture and at the same time to manufacture their clothes. On this wonderful journey you will be part of the family sharing some of their magnificent traditional daily activities, music, dance, and many llamas and alpacas in free ranch.

After some ours to stay with Andean families we will return on the way to Cusco.

Day 5: Free day in Cusco City

Cusco City, often referred to as the “Historical Capital of Peru,” is a captivating destination nestled in the Andes Mountains. Recognized for its rich history and cultural significance, Cusco was once the capital of the Inca Empire and continues to showcase a seamless blend of Incan and colonial Spanish architecture.

You will have a free day to woder some destination in the city.

  • Sacsayhuaman: is renowned for its impressive megalithic stone walls, some of which weigh over 120 tons. The site served both defensive and ceremonial purposes, featuring intricate stonework characterized by precisely cut and interlocking stones, a testament to the advanced engineering skills of the Inca civilization.
  • Inka Museum: The finest path to grasp the evolution of our culture. Here, you’ll encounter numerous exemplars of Inca art, with perhaps the most striking being the mummies dating back to ancient times
  • Traditional Streets: Every street you traverse bears a history stretching back many years.
  • Local Market: Our local market is intriguing due to its assortment of small family-run businesses. Each product is sourced directly from local farmers, ensuring freshness and immediate availability.

Dia 6:  ADVENTURE ON THE RAINBOW MOUNTAIN.

Rainbow mountain, or the painted mountains in the Peruvian Andes, is one of the magnificent geological features capturing the attention of many travelers by its colorful terrain. Local people refer to this mountain as a Vinicunca in the local language.

Itinerary:

On this day we will start at 04:30 in the morning to be able to be the first to reach the mountain of colors Vinicunca 5050 m. Located 3 ½ hours away from the city of Cusco, we will cross the southern valley where we will appreciate different villages that have their different activities and their countryside to reach the town of Cusipata. Here we will taste a nutritious breakfast. Then we’d continue in our bus for 1½ hour trip to skirt the mountain Vinicunca 4750 m high. From this elevation, will begin a walk uphill for 2 hours at a slow pace to avoid mountain sickness to reach our destination. We will stay for an hour to take pictures and explore on our own some other important points of interest. Then we will go in the direction of the red valley until we descend to the starting point where our transport awaits us to take us back to Pitumarca where we will enjoy a buffet lunch in the afternoon. We will return to Cusco in our transport around 17:00 hours. Not Included dinner.

Day 7:

2 hours in  before your flight we will come to pick you up from your hotel to drive you on the way to the airport.
